CARPATHIAN FOREST's Vrangsinn Provides Music For Horror Film

This is not the first time that Executive producer Kim Sønderholm, who also stars in the film as the Chauffeur hell-bent on making female lead Camilla Metelmann's life as frightening as possible, has used Vrangsinn's music, having previously featured it in "Horror Vault". About his collaboration with Sønderholm, Vrangsinn said, "Most people automatically link me and my music with the Black Metal scene because of Carpathian Forest, but in fact my own music is very different in sound and atmosphere. Helvete, the piece that is used in 'Bleed With Me', wasn't written specifically for the film, but it's a piece that that happens to have some very dark and disturbing undercurrents to it, and when Kim Sønderholm heard it, he thought it would be perfect for the film. Writing film scores is something that has always interested me though, and it's definitely something that I would like to explore further".
Vrangsinn is currently working on a new album entitled Phobia, which will be released in an audio-visual format through Misantrof ANTI Records, the "non" label he heads, and which makes all its releases available for free download. Although reluctant to reveal too much about the project, since something similar has never been attempted before, Phobia will include not only Vrangsinn's own music, but also the work of various artists from different disciplines who will be contributing their own visual interpretation of various "phobias". More information about Vrangsinn can be found on his MySpace page
