DANAVA ANNOUNCE U.S. TOUR WITH WITCHCRAFT; ENTIRE NEW ALBUM AVAILABLE FOR ONLINE STREAMING
Psychedelic sci-fi hard rockers DANAVA have announced U.S. tour dates in support of their highly anticipated debut album, "DANAVA". The much talked about Portland, OR quartet will team up with Swedish doom / '70s-influenced unit Witchcraft for a three week tour slated to launch on October 23 in Seattle, WA. The trek is expected to conclude on November 16 in Minneapolis, MN with additional dates pending.
Just prior to the tour, DANAVA (pronounced DON-UH-VUH) will play two special shows in the NYC area. The fast-rising band, known for their exceedingly powerful live performances, spellbinding song craft and unequalled blend of sound that combines metal's power with experimental / prog-rock's kaleidoscopic avant-garde, will perform live at Brooklyn's Glassland Gallery on October 8 and at NYC's Mercury Lounge on October 9.
DANAVA's self titled debut will drop on November 7 via Kemado Records. An E-Card, which previews the entire new album and also features high-energy live performance videos has been unveiled and can be accessed at this location. The final track listing for "DANAVA" is: "By the Mark", "Eyes in Disguise", "Quiet Babies Astray in a Manger", "Longdance" and "Maudie Shook". The album was recorded at Portland's Suite 304 Studios with Producer Johnny Jewel and was mastered at New York City's legendary R.E.M. Sound. DANAVA have been assaulting crowds since 2003 with their unique take on Heavy Prog / Hard Rock that features twin leads, ethereal, sci-fi synths and bombastic drums (calling for comparisons to GONG, QUEEN, HAWKWIND and VOIVOD).
