PIG DESTROYER's BLAKE HARRISON Has Died
Sad news for fans of grindcore music. Blake Harrison, a former member of the influential American band Pig Destroyer, passed away recently at the age of 48. While the cause of death hasn't been officially announced, tributes are pouring in from the music community.
Harrison was known for his contributions to Pig Destroyer from 2006 to 2022, adding depth and chaos with his sound design and samples. But his musical influence extended beyond that band. He also played and recorded with bands like Tentacles of God, Triac, Zealot R.I.P., Daybreak, and Hatebeak.
Beyond the stage, Harrison was a writer for Decibel magazine's "For Those About To Squawk" column, sharing his passion for the genre with readers.
