Obituary Comment on Tour

By jason

OBITUARY frontman John Tardy has posted the following message at the band's official website:

"8 shows, 8 cities, 7 states in 9 days! We got home yesterday tired, but in one piece! Our mini-West Coast tour went well and we had a great time with both DEAD TO FALL and SADUS. We can't thank both of them enough for all their help! It takes a lot of people to make these shows happen and we really need to thank Yamaha, Sabian and ESP for all their support!

Yamaha set us up, as usual, with a drum kit for all the shows. This company treats us like family and we really appreciate all they do for us worldwide!!!!

About a month or so back Allen lost most of his stuff in a fire which included most of his guitars. ESP, without question, showed up to our show in L.A. and set him up with 2 brand new guitars! What can we say...thank you for all your support!!!

SUPPORT THE PEOPLE THAT SUPPORT US!!!

We are now preparing for our European shows which will test all of us. We have to fly to our first 9 shows and that is really gonna suck, but it is what we have to do. We are looking forward to these shows and thank all of the festivals that have invited us to play with them."
