IN FLAMES Announce "Deliver Us" Digital Single

One of the biggest bands in the world of heavy metal is back with a vengeance. After teaming up with Century Media Records for the upcoming release of 'Sounds of a Playground Fading', IN FLAMES is now announcing the first single for fans eagerly awaiting the new record. Titled "Deliver Us", the new digital single will be released on Tuesday, May 10th in North America. This will be the first opportunity to experience 'Sounds of a Playground Fading' before it is released on June 20, 2011. Recorded in their own IF Studios with Roberto Laghi, Daniel Bergstrand and Örjan Örnklo, expect nothing less than the best album in years from a partnership between one of the biggest metal bands with one of the world's biggest metal labels.



IN FLAMES was founded in 1990 in Gothenburg and soon became one of the most successful Swedish metal bands upon the release of their breakthrough album 'The Jester Race' in 1996. Like many of their previous efforts, their last album 'A Sense Of Purpose' (2008) charted all over the world including the band's highest ever entry on the American Billboard top 200 with an amazing #28 debut. Other notable chart entries include: #1 in Sweden, #7 in Canada, #6 in Germany, #3 in Finland and the 7th best selling album in the entire continent of Europe upon release.
