Atavistia Unleashes New Single and Prepares for Epic Canadian Assault

Hailing from the frostbitten realms of Canada, melodic death metal juggernauts Atavistia are set to unleash their latest single, “In The Shadow Of Tomorrow,” a track poised to redefine the genre's boundaries. This explosive anthem serves as a precursor to the highly anticipated deluxe edition of their groundbreaking album, Old Gods Awaken, which will be showcased across 16 thunderous dates in a Canadian tour kicking off on September 25, 2026.

“In The Shadow Of Tomorrow” represents the zenith of Atavistia’s artistic evolution, fusing relentless blast beats and rapid-fire riffs with soaring melodies that ascend to the heavens. The impending Canadian tour will commence in the band's hometown of Vancouver at the Wise Hall, where they will share the stage with Finnish folk metal legends Ensiferum and Greek power metal kings Firewind. Following this explosive opening, Atavistia will traverse the majestic Canadian landscape, hitting hotspots across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, and Quebec.

Joining the fray are fellow metal warriors Omniesia, who will accompany Atavistia for shows in Kamloops, Calgary, and Edmonton, ensuring that the energy remains palpable. The Quebec folk/melodic death metal outfit Trollwar will also join the tour starting October 3 in Sarnia, riding the wave of metal mayhem all the way to the grand finale in Montreal on October 11.
