In a thunderous proclamation to the metal scene, End Of Abyss, a formidable force hailing from Finland, is ready to unleash their debut album, Escape To A New Empire, on October 23 through Inverse Records. While the band may be a fresh face on the international stage, their lineup boasts veterans from the Finnish metal underbelly, including the renowned vocalist Mikko Herranen and the powerhouse bassist Janne Koskenkorva, both of whom have made their mark across several esteemed acts.

Their latest single, "Sound Of Soul," serves as the final prelude to the album, showcasing a rock-driven prog metal sound that veers from their earlier explorations with a more direct approach. Composer Petrus Syvänperä reveals, "There’s even some hit potential in the chorus," hinting at a track that balances heaviness with accessibility, a feat not easily achieved in the progressive metal realm.
