GRAVEYARD Rises From The Abyss with 'A Means To An End'

Sweden’s heavy rock titans unleash a blistering new single and prepare to conquer the metal scene once more.

In a thunderous return that echoes through the corridors of rock history, GRAVEYARD has unleashed their latest single, "A Means To An End," marking the first taste of their highly anticipated seventh studio album, "Fever." Set to drop on October 9, 2026, under the banner of Nuclear Blast Records, this release promises to redefine the band's sonic landscape.

Emerging from a three-year slumber following the introspective "Six," GRAVEYARD is cranking up the intensity with a sound that's drenched in bone-crushing fuzz and distortion. The album opens with the massively groovy track "Back From The Grave," channeling the mighty BLACK SABBATH while tracks like "Time To Tell" echo the grandiosity of CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL. The hard-hitting anthems "Room Tempered," "Tongue Tied," and the titular "Means To An End" solidify their unrelenting approach, showcasing the relentless spirit that has defined their evolution since forming in 2006.

With "Fever," GRAVEYARD is not just returning; they’re storming back into the spotlight with a heavier, more direct sound. The band has enlisted the mixing prowess of Pelle Gunnerfeldt, known for capturing raw energy from legends like THE HIVES and REFUSED, while mastering duties were entrusted to Robin Schmidt of 24-96 Mastering. This collaboration ensures that amidst the sheer drive of the album, the blues-soaked soul that ignited their breakthrough, "Hisingen Blues," remains intact—especially on the fiery closer, "Dead Note."

Shifting from the understated art of "Six," the visual representation of "Fever" is a striking departure, crafted by the acclaimed Dutch artist Maarten Donders. Known for his work at the cult festival Roadburn, Donders' artistic vision has graced collaborations with a plethora of artists, from ACID KING to the iconic Frank Zappa, and his influence is palpable on this new chapter for GRAVEYARD.

With two No. 1 albums already under their belt in Sweden, GRAVEYARD is set to kick off their touring cycle with an electrifying co-headline tour alongside BLUES PILLS across Scandinavia, igniting the flame for the album's release and paving the way for extensive European tours and festivals in 2027. The heavy metal landscape is about to be rocked to its core.
