Their debut seven-song EP, 'APTK', dropped in June and is just the beginning of a creative storm that promises to reshape the heavy music landscape.

Patrick's take on the songwriting dynamic with Louvau is as spontaneous as a mosh pit at a Slayer show. He noted, 'It's very spontaneous. It's not over-thought out.' This free-spirited approach has already birthed one EP and has them gearing up for a second, with Patrick declaring, 'Let's just keep going until the wheels fall off.' In an industry where many bands hit a creative brick wall, A PLACE TO KILL thrives on the thrill of the moment—a refreshing antidote to the formulaic and predictable.

With hints at live performances bubbling to the surface, Patrick teased the possibility of A PLACE TO KILL opening for FILTER in the near future. 'I could see something within the next couple of years, for sure,' he mused. Patrick is adamant about delivering full-bodied experiences rather than drip-feeding teasers. 'We put out the full EP. But the second EP is gonna come out in singles...' he stated, emphasizing their commitment to creating compelling visual content to accompany the music.

Their creative journey began back in 2008, when Louvau interviewed Patrick before a FILTER gig, and they've been plotting their collaboration ever since. With tracks like 'The Killing Field' already making waves as a B-side on FILTER's limited-edition vinyl, A PLACE TO KILL is set to unleash a wave of new music that will leave a mark on the heavy music scene for years to come.
