The WHITESNAKE guitar hero gears up to celebrate half a century of rock with a documentary, new album, and a monumental concert.

Mark your calendars, metalheads! Dutch guitar virtuoso Adrian Vandenberg, famed for his blistering riffs with WHITESNAKE, is set to celebrate a staggering fifty years in the music scene come 2027. This milestone will be marked by an array of projects paying homage to his illustrious career, including a revealing documentary, a brand new album, and a tell-all biography. But that’s not all; Vandenberg is also planning a one-night-only concert extravaganza in April 2027 at the iconic 013 venue in Tilburg, Netherlands.

In a recent social media post that dripped with nostalgia and excitement, Vandenberg shared, "Guys! I'm gonna tell you a public secret: 2027 is gonna be a super exciting year! Believe it or not, I'll have my 50-year anniversary as a rock musician. It’s hard to fathom that it was 50 years ago when I formed my first band, TEASER, and kicked off this wild ride in rock and roll." The guitarist reminisced about his early days, from landing a record deal to the whirlwind tours across Europe, setting the stage for a career filled with electrifying performances.

The upcoming Tilburg concert promises to be nothing short of legendary, featuring tracks from Vandenberg's extensive discography, including his work with WHITESNAKE, MANIC EDEN, and VANDENBERG’S MOONKINGS. "Special guests will join us on stage for this unique festive evening," he teased, leaving fans eagerly anticipating the full lineup and details. This celebration is just the tip of the iceberg, as Vandenberg vows to share more updates as the year unfolds.

Earlier this year, Vandenberg has been on the road honoring his rich history with WHITESNAKE through the tour aptly named "My Whitesnake Years." This tour serves as a tribute to the 35th anniversary of the iconic "Slip Of The Tongue" album and revisits highlights like the legendary 1990 "Live At Donington" show, reminding fans of the raw energy that Vandenberg brought to the stage.

Since joining WHITESNAKE in 1987, Vandenberg has left an indelible mark on the rock world, laying down the unforgettable guitar solo on the anthem "Here I Go Again" and co-writing the entire "Slip Of The Tongue" album alongside rock titan Steve Vai. His illustrious journey also includes fronting his namesake band VANDENBERG, known for hits like "Burning Heart," and collaborating with rock legends such as OZZY OSBOURNE and KISS. After a successful stint with VANDENBERG'S MOONKINGS and a triumphant comeback in 2020, the guitarist continues to prove that his reign in rock is far from over.

With the release of his latest album, "Sin," crafted under the watchful eye of producer Bob Marlette, Vandenberg is not just celebrating the past but also pushing forward into new territories. As he gears up to commemorate his five decades in music, one thing is certain: the metal community is in for a wild ride.
