Foo Fighters Announce New Album 'Your Favorite Toy,' Premiere Title Track
Foo Fighters have officially announced their sixteenth studio album, titled Your Favorite Toy, set for release on June 12, 2026, via Roswell Records/RCA Records. Alongside the announcement, the band has shared the album’s lead single and title track, which is now available on all major streaming platforms. Produced by Greg Kurstin and the band, the new record marks the follow-up to 2023’s critically acclaimed But Here We Are.
Frontman Dave Grohl described the new material as a "celebration of the things that ground us," noting that the songwriting process for Your Favorite Toy focused on themes of nostalgia, resilience, and the simple joys of life. The title track features the band’s signature melodic roar, blending anthemic choruses with the driving rhythmic precision that has defined their sound for over three decades.
The album announcement comes just as the Foo Fighters prepare to embark on a massive stadium tour across North America and Europe this summer. While the band has been tight-lipped about the full tracklist, Grohl hinted that the record includes some of the most collaborative arrangements the group has ever produced.
Fans can pre-order Your Favorite Toy in various formats, including limited-edition colored vinyl and deluxe digital bundles, starting this Friday. The band is also expected to perform the new single live for the first time during their upcoming appearance on Saturday Night Live later this month.
