Chad Gray Announces "30 Years of Madness" Spring 2026 Solo Tour
Chad Gray, the powerhouse vocalist of Mudvayne and Hellyeah, has announced a string of solo tour dates for Spring 2026. Titled "30 Years of Madness," the tour marks Gray’s first-ever solo performances and serves as a celebration of his decades-long career in the heavy metal scene.
The announcement comes as Mudvayne officially takes a hiatus from the road for the 2026 calendar year. Gray, who famously stated he "just can’t stay off the couch," decided to use the downtime to create a unique "storytelling" concert experience that brings together the catalogs of both his major bands on a single stage for the first time.
A Career-Spanning Celebration
The tour is designed as a deep dive into Gray's musical legacy, featuring hits and fan-favorites from both Mudvayne and Hellyeah. Notably, this will be the first time Gray has performed Hellyeah material since early 2020, as the band has remained inactive since the passing of legendary drummer Vinnie Paul.
"This is going to be so much fun!" Gray shared in a social media update. "That’s what it is… fun, a celebration! Music from both of my bands—Mudvayne and Hellyeah. I want to go down the rabbit hole with all of my oxygen-wasting hellions."
The "Madness" Lineup
Gray won't be hitting the stage alone. He has assembled a backing band comprised of close friends and longtime collaborators to ensure the songs retain their original intensity:
Christian Brady: Hellyeah guitarist
Marcus Rafferty: Mudvayne touring guitarist
Additional guest musicians to be announced.
The tour will also feature rising alternative rock artist Kami Kehoe as the primary support act for several dates, with Doobie joining for the final shows in Illinois and Wisconsin.
2026 Solo Tour Dates:
April 24 – Las Vegas, NV @ Fremont Country Club (Upgraded venue from Backstage Bar & Billiards)
May 26 – Flint, MI @ The Machine Shop
May 29 – East Moline, IL @ The Rust Belt
May 30 – Green Bay, WI @ Epic Event Center
