Black Stone Cherry Reschedules UK Tour to 2027: More Dates Added!
In a move that’s sure to strike a chord with their loyal fanbase, Kentucky’s own Black Stone Cherry has officially pushed back their highly anticipated UK tour to January 2027. This isn’t just a mere rescheduling; the southern rock powerhouse has expanded their plans, adding five new shows to the already massive 21-date lineup, including a fresh stop in Sheffield.
For those who previously snagged tickets, fear not—your golden passes remain valid for the revamped dates. Fans can expect an unforgettable evening featuring two electrifying sets: the first will showcase their iconic 2006 self-titled debut album in its entirety, in celebration of its 20th anniversary, while the second will dive into a treasure trove of classics alongside fresh tracks from their latest EP, aptly titled *Celebrate*.
Drummer John-Fred Young addressed the changes with sincerity, explaining, "Cherry Heads! We know that so many of you are ready to rock with us on our October-November 20th Anniversary UK Tour! However, due to personal family commitments, we've had to shift the tour to the new year. We truly appreciate your understanding and can't wait to see you all in January and February!"
The new dates kick off on January 14 in Bournemouth and will take fans through the UK and into Ireland, concluding with shows in Cork and Dublin. With many venues already listed as sold out, it’s clear that the excitement for this tour is palpable!
In addition to the tour excitement, Black Stone Cherry has just unleashed their new 7-track EP *Celebrate*, showcasing a diverse range that includes the dreamy grunge vibes of “I’m Fine” and a stellar cover of Simple Minds’ “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” featuring Tyler Connolly from Theory Of A Deadman. This EP is a testament to their growth and versatility as artists.
