American death metal veterans Dying Fetus have announced a major North American tour scheduled for fall 2026

American death metal veterans Dying Fetus have announced a major North American tour scheduled for fall 2026, teaming up with rising extreme metal act Sanguisugabogg for a co-headlining run across the United States and Canada.

The tour will feature additional support from sludge metal legends Crowbar, along with Left to Suffer and grindcore outfit Deterioration on most dates. The extensive trek is set to kick off on September 17 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and continue through more than 30 cities before concluding in Richmond, Virginia in late October.

According to the bands, the tour will bring together multiple generations of heavy music, combining the technical brutality of Dying Fetus with the newer wave of aggressive death metal represented by Sanguisugabogg. Dying Fetus frontman John Gallagher said the lineup represents exactly the kind of extreme metal bill fans want to see, noting that the tour unites established legends with newer acts currently gaining momentum in the scene.

Crowbar will provide direct support for most of the tour dates, bringing their signature New Orleans sludge metal sound to the lineup. Meanwhile, Left to Suffer and Deterioration will round out the bill, delivering a mix of deathcore and grindcore across the tour’s U.S. stops.

Several special appearances are also planned during the Canadian shows in Montreal and Toronto, where the band Scorching Tomb will join the lineup. A small number of dates will feature slight lineup adjustments due to scheduling conflicts, though the core tour package remains largely intact throughout the run.

Dying Fetus, formed in Maryland in 1991, remain one of the most respected names in brutal and technical death metal. The band has released nine studio albums and continues to maintain a strong presence in the global extreme metal scene through constant touring and festival appearances.

Tickets for the fall tour are scheduled to go on sale beginning May 1, with presale opportunities becoming available shortly before the public release.

Fans can expect a high-intensity tour that combines veteran brutality with newer extreme metal energy as the bands take the stage across North America this fall.
