Caleb Shomo’s Beartooth is officially back. After a period of teasing new music on social media, the band has confirmed they will release a brand-new single titled "Free" this coming Friday, February 27, 2026.

The announcement follows the massive success of their 2023 album The Surface, which saw the band achieving some of the highest chart positions and radio play of their career. While The Surface focused on a journey toward self-love and positivity, "Free" is rumored to lean back into the high-energy, aggressive riffs that defined the band's earlier work, while maintaining the polished production and infectious hooks Shomo has mastered.

In a brief statement accompanying the single's artwork—a stark, minimalist design—Shomo noted that the track represents a "new chapter of sonic exploration" for the band. Fans are already speculating that this single marks the beginning of the cycle for Beartooth’s sixth studio album.
