MONUMENTUM DAMNATI is an international project whose leaders are based in Eastern Europe. The group finally took shape in 2018, although the material for the debut album "In The Tomb Of A Forgotten King" was composed over several years. Grotesque masks that hide the faces of the participants, as well as nicknames instead of names, help to more impartially evaluate the music of the team, not paying attention to the existing well-known projects of the participants. Without reference to a specific genre, experienced musicians embody in each composition of their debut album a unique dark story with occult content. Under the influence of various experiments and the horror atmosphere, 9 compositions with the most varied mood and degree of melody focus around Melodic Doom / Death and Dark Metal with orchestrations. Filippos Koliopanos (Ocean Of Grief), the Greek musician / sound engineer, worked on the sound, and Olga Kann worked on the design. The work will appeal to connoisseurs of diverse music, for whom both leisurely pace with measured, viscous riffs in some compositions and a dynamic presentation with rhythmic patterns and catchy melodies in others are equally interesting.
