Los Angeles stoner/doom metal band BEHOLD! THE MONOLITH will take the stage this coming Sunday, September 3, at Scorched Tundra VIII. The fest kicks off September 1 at The Empty Bottle in Chicago. Scorched Tundra's mission is to give a new generation of talented artists a unique live platform in Chicago and Gothenburg. Scorched Tundra's billing - based on sound not stature - creates a unique aural experience for the audience. Scorched Tundra VIII marks the event's much anticipated return to Chicago after last years two day sold out event. The third ever Scorched Tundra beer - brewed in collaboration with Pipeworks Brewing Company - an India Pale Ale dry hopped with Australian and American aromatic varietals - will be available at select bars and stores in Chicago in August and at the festival. Longtime Scorched Tundra collaborator Axel Widén created artwork for the beer label and festival poster.
