Upcoming 'Metallica The Early Days' DVD Not Early Enough
Metallica, the greatest metal band that once was will be releasing 'The Early Days' DVD on April 10th via Showlight/IDS/Fontana North. The release will feature live footage from two "early" Metallica concerts. When you title something 'The Early Days,' it gives the impression that the DVD will feature Metallica in their prime circa 1984-1986. Of course this isn't the case in this situation however. Fans who buy the bands upcoming 'The Early Days' release will be shocked to discover that the live footage was performed during the bands "Load" and "Unload" tours back in 1997 and 1999. You can watch the band perform classics like "Ain't My Bitch," "Stone Cold Crazy," "So What," "Fuel," and "King Nothing."
And if this shit already doesn't have you pissed off, the version of "Master of Puppets" Metallica performs is the short version with no guitar solo. You can check out the footage below.
Enjoy!
