Scorpions Cancel April 2026 India Tour Due to Medical Issues
German rock legends Scorpions have canceled their planned April 2026 tour of India after organizers cited unforeseen medical circumstances affecting members of the band.
The tour had been scheduled to include four major performances across the country. The band was set to play at JN Stadium in Shillong on April 21, HUDA Grounds in Delhi-NCR on April 24, NICE Grounds in Bengaluru on April 26, and Jio Gardens in Mumbai on April 30.
Tour promoter BookMyShow announced the cancellation through social media, explaining that the shows could not proceed due to health-related issues involving members of the group. The company apologized to fans for the disappointment and confirmed that all purchased tickets would be automatically refunded within seven to ten working days.
The “Coming Home” India tour would have marked Scorpions’ first live appearances in the country in nearly two decades. The band last performed in India in December 2007, when they played shows in Shillong, Mumbai, and Bengaluru during their “Humanity” world tour.
Although the band has not revealed specific details about the medical circumstances, organizers indicated that the group hopes to return to India at a future date when scheduling allows.
Scorpions, formed in 1965, remain one of the most successful rock bands in history. Known for global hits such as “Wind of Change,” “Rock You Like a Hurricane,” and “Still Loving You,” the band has continued touring worldwide as part of their ongoing 60th-anniversary celebrations.
Fans who purchased tickets for the canceled shows are expected to receive refunds automatically, while the band’s future plans for performances in India remain uncertain.
