VRTRA: Awesome Debut

CVLT Nation says VRTRA's Release could be the best Debut of 2016. This would be a momentous since first listens rarely lead our critics to accurate assessments.

Here at the Guantlet we have given the 6 spin treatment to VRTRA (also the name of the Hindu god of Chaos.) Our assessment does not yield the same prediction. Not because the record is not good, its quite remarkable. Rather its because there have been over 7700 metal debut's this season by the most conservative count. The band is definitely worth investing in and adding to any collection. It is in the earnest opinion among the best music I have heard this year.
