Arcanium is asking fans for donations to help offset costs following a t-shirt cannon explosion. The band has checked in with the following update:

"As some of you may or may not already know, a few weeks back our t-shirt cannon malfunctioned and exploded in to pieces at our rehearsal space, severely injuring and hospitalizing two bystanders.

"One of these bystanders was our long time friend and guitar tech Dustin 'Dead Dreamz' Hamilton. The other was our tour manager and long time friend Damien Boyd. These two dudes have made HUGE sacrifices for our band, never demanding anything in return. Unfortunately these sacrifices have also led to less than optimal healthcare and financial circumstances. Hospital bills are stacking up and are already above 3k.

"If you have it in your heart to help, we have started an online fundraiser and are accepting donations to help our metal brothers recover from this tragedy. Even though the events that led up to the explosion remain a mystery, Arcanium vows to NEVER AGAIN utilize a t-shirt cannon in any of its’ events or functions, for the safety of our fans and affiliates. We are extremely grateful and feel very lucky that these two are still alive.

"We found the photos of their injuries to be too graphic for Facebook, however they can still be viewed at our website. Very serious stuff. We wish Dustin and Damien a fast road to recovery, and thank you in advance for any size of donation that you can make. Please click here to help these guys out."
