Cronos from Venom appears on next Necrodeath album

According to the official Scarlet Records web site, the next album by black metal heathens, Necrodeath will feature a guest appearance by none other than Cronos, lead howler for black metal pioneers Venom.

Necrodeath, who are huge Venom fans, pleaded with fellow Italian Luca Bosio to ask Cronos if he would consider recording a narration for an intro to one of their songs.

Cronos accepted the part after Bosio sent him one of Necrodeath's albums. Cronos stated, "Luca has sent me a copy of each Necrodeath album since their first...they have a raw energy that I like."

Scarlet Records lists the album's release date for the beginning of this year, but no date has been confirmed. Check back in to The Gauntlet to read further news as it develops.
