Society 1 begin recording for new album
Here is the official word from the Society 1 camp in regard to their recent studio activities...
"This past weekend Society 1 entered NRG Studio's in North Hollywood to record some of their new material with producer Wade Norton. Norton produced the last two S1 records and has committed to a third but felt that the new songs were so different from past material it needed to be worked out in a studio setting. Four songs which were chosen out of 15 to be recorded are most likely the potential singles and reflect the bands growing ability to write accessible songs without losing any of the dark sinister edge. One witness who stumbled into the recording session during playback said it reminded her of The Silence Of Lambs, although this didn't stop the young lady from moving in rhythm to the track. Matt "The Lord" Zane had this to say: "Every record has been different but not in a forced or insincere way. This is the beginning of another progression. We really want the music to inspire the imagination to travel from heaven to hell and everywhere in-between." It is not clear if any of the demo versions will be released but stay tuned for possible snippets to surface."
