In a bombshell announcement that reverberates through the metal scene, DragonForce has revealed a significant shift in their lineup as frontman Marc Hudson steps back due to a prolonged battle with tinnitus. The beloved vocalist will be temporarily sidelined from the band's music duties, including their much-anticipated 2026/2027 album and tour. Yet, fear not, DragonForce fans; Hudson will remain a vital part of the DragonForce family, collaborating behind the scenes with management on new and thrilling projects set to unfold later this year.

Stepping into the spotlight is none other than Alessio Garavello, Hudson's former vocal coach and a long-time ally of the band. Garavello will take on male vocal duties alongside the formidable Alissa White-Gluz, marking a new chapter for DragonForce that promises an exhilarating dual-vocals format. New tracks are set to pour in starting next week, igniting anticipation for what lies ahead.

Herman Li, the band's guitar wizard, expressed heartfelt sentiments about Hudson's health: “For the last fifteen years, Marc has poured his heart into this band, and his voice has become such a huge part of who we are. This monumental tour, featuring support from Ensiferum and Rhapsody Of Fire, will span 22 cities from November to December, bringing the world’s fastest band to stages across the continent.
