Erin Fox: Tell us about the new ice age of Imperial
Crystalline Entombment.

ICE: The new ICE age, is nothing new at all, it is a
return to old. The vast and bleak cryonic powers of
old, which live in a permanent state of writhing hate,
fiending for the blood of the rebellious but weak
energy of life will spill forth and destroy that which
should not exist: life itself and every creature
birthed from it. We are the bringers of the
apocalypse, the keys to the kingdom, and the
foreboding of the END. The almighty RÃ¥vaskeith and the
legions of the GÃ¥mork will tumble forth through the
epic spinning orifice of astral space time, making
it's rightful frozen throne known to all. We are
mediators between the ancient and this corporeal
universe. All your human scientists have comprehended
that the concept of time is nonexistent, and "just is"
and has been, far before humans designated "time" to
it. They also have stumbled upon the hundreds of
traveling black holes that sift through this sun's
star cluster alone, and yet they are still far from
realizing the origin of these shifting masses and
there power and that empty blackmatter that fills the
vast, cold abyss of space. We where chosen, conjured
and brought to the north to be the first creatures of
this universe to conjure and summon the waves of ice
through the ever expanding universe. Before the
blackmatter, there was an endless, bleak abyss of
blinding white. We are the ones who shall restore the
universe to it's proper alignment. We are IMPERIAL
CRYSTALLINE ENTOMBMENT. The name says it all, but you
will not be able to comprehend this or it's meanings
until you are convulsing in terror and pain as you see
the endless snow falling over your strained and
wincing face. Then and only then will you know the
meaning of this Imperial Crystalline Entombment and
the ICE age that is to come.

Apocalyptic End In White is a chilling blast of black
metal, tell us of what inspired some of the individual
songs.

ICE: We have no inspirations other than the force that
drives us, and bends our minds and wills to the
blinding hypothermic power of the ancient. We speak
the truth with our music, preparing the frozen
apocalypse and raising RÃ¥vaskieth is a very time
consuming thing, and takes many years...but our link
to our human lives is still buried within us...and so
perhaps our human talents and inspirations of the past
have surged to create this album for the masses, as a
taunting spit in the eye of humanity. We do not plan
or control any of this. It just flows from us as does
the cold breath of the ancient. All these songs come
forth naturally as a combined unity of power and
conviction. We don't create, we all just flow. We do
not handle things as normal human men can comprehend.
It is hard for me to explain...This music just
IS....as we just ARE. As far as each individual song
goes...all the lyrics where deciphered after the
recording , and then put into paper form for the
album. There was no preplanning....It all flows from
us, at the same time...it is all done at the moment,
spontaneously....When we gather our conscious minds
disappear and the spirits to which we where called
possess our astral GÃ¥morkian fluid, thus controlling
our moves and upheaving the ancient hatred through the
tools of our corporeal extensions. This is a very
rapturous experience, as is when we gather for the
invoking rituals.
To us this thing you talk of - "inspiration", comes
naturally, and I suppose that the powers we inherited
through our astral communions, may have influenced our
talents even more so, giving us even more power. All
of our senses and abilities are constantly growing
stronger, and the cold emptiness prepares us for the
time, when we will be given the final power to raise
the beasts, and bring the rightful unity of cold black
emptiness to the universe once more. If this music
sounds inhuman to you, then you are correct. Just by
playing the album in your speakers, you are opening
the eyes of the parallel side to peer right into
you....and you feel that as the music rages on. We
have no control of vocals, lyrics or inspirations, the
voice of RÃ¥vaskieth spits forth from us, whenever we
open our mouths...we can not control that..nor
understand the presence or power of it just yet...it
just happens.

The album cover is brilliant. Who designed it for you?

ICE: Our connection to our past lives as humans
amongst the monkey cattle presented us with many
contacts, that our brains retained during the
transformation. When we gathered back together here in
the states, after our transformation communion during
the then unknown 7th eclipse of RÃ¥vaskeith, we used
these contacts to get in touch with who we thought
could record this album the best and who was closest
to our traveling path southward to the opposite frozen
pole. We gave the producer from NIGHTSKY STUDIOS the
challenge and he accepted. The album came out just as
we expected: SUPREME. Same goes for the artwork. We
summoned the artist from VISUALDARKNESS to work with
us on this project, and knowing that he was intune
with the inherent desire to end life and return
existence to it's frozen state of old, we were sure
that he could illustrate the truth in ICE and the
power that is behind us. We have only recently
received copies of the album and are quite pleased
with the layout and the production this time around.
The artist successfully represented the wrath and
frozen destruction that is to come.

What do you have to say to detractors of the band?

ICE: All those hopefilled, ignorant mammals who shun
the message of ICE, are revealing to the rest of their
genetic monkey pools, their own shaking and frail
human nature of FEAR. They fear what they do not know
or understand, like every other scrambling animal on
this doomed planet. We are pleased to know and it is
expected that the masses of filth on this planet will
dismiss ICE, this will only bring them more pain in
the END. When the first snowfall begins, and the skies
are swarmed with the throbbing pulse of the heaving
GÃ¥morkian winds, the earth will foolishly cry to their
selfish and self created gods in futile anguish. We
are glad to open the doors of truth to the ears of the
contemplatable human race...let them know of there
oncoming demise...there is more pain and fear that way
....unlike the wild animals who are oblivious to the
approaching apocalypse. Be aware and know, that soon
the time shall come, and you will ALL succumb. Those
of you however who embrace ICE, and the coming of the
END....who have always looked at this existence and
known that something is not right, something is
wrong.....you look with hate and misanthropy...ICE is
for you...to open your souls and have the great eye of
RÃ¥vaskieth stare into you. Feel the hate, and when the
cold winds come and the screaming begins....take your
knife with you into the snow....bury yourself deep and
end your own life, then and only then will you who
understand, perish in emptiness without the vicious
pain of the astral cosmic regime...

Describe an I.C.E. concert. What types of emotions do
you put forth in a live setting?

ICE: Like an avalanche of concaving pain within your
brain and soul, the voice and sonic hatred of the
almighty RÃ¥vaskeith will spill forth and enter your
solarplex with a convulsing violent thrust, taking
control of all your corporeal limbs and motions. The
whirlwind blizzard of screaming and violent thrashing
will encase your thoughts with the imagery of what
will come of your pathetic human frail existence, and
the murdered blood cries of your loved ones. The End
will come in blinding white and snow....such glimpses
of the frozen apocalypse will leave you subconsciously
begging for more, knowing:..YOU SHOULD NOT BE
HERE....THE END IS NEAR... Cosmic, cold and ancient,
the chaos gods of ICE shall return to rule once
more!!! See the passion, feel the truth, as the floor
rumbles and the screaming ensues...embrace and know
that indeed, RÃ¥vaskeith will rise and conquer! YOU
WILL ALL PERISH IN ICE!!!!

What is each member's function in the group?

ICE: To insure the arrival of RÃ¥vaskeith and to summon
forth through a collective communion, the frozen
spirits of the ancient. Before we took it upon
ourselves to take the jump and move to the wilderness
of the north - feeling the pull of of the orbital
RÃ¥vaskieth, we were all musicians as
humans...outcasts...different. Now our very souls and
engraved essence is poised and steadfast to spend all
our time, slowly opening the portal to the blizzard
side. Yearly practicing our northern rituals and
astral travels through the blackholes of spacetime and
beyond to the vast and endless white abyss, we are
continually training to align the GÃ¥morkian
connection.
If your speaking of functions as far as sonic sounds
manipulations for this album of testament....all these
songs come forth naturally as a combined unity of
power and conviction, there are no instruments but us
ourselves, as the instruments for the open eye of
RÃ¥vaskieth. These songs all come from a
collective....we gather together in this form only so
often to spit forth this human way of expanding the
mind and soul. Our inhuman souls are constantly
colliding together on the astral level intertwining,
and inspiring each other.....hence all these songs
come forth naturally as a combined unity of power and
conviction. No one person creates, we all just flow.
We do not handle things as normal human men can
comprehend....It is hard for me to explain...This
music just IS....as we just ARE. Our identities died
the minute our souls were ripped from our chests and
cast upon the whirling winds, of the Blissered shrine.
Even if we retained memory of who we were as mortals
or what talents we possessed, it would be unimportant,
to the mission of ICE.

Speak about the philosophies behind the band:

ICE: We can only speak to you of so much...we are
honoring you pathetic humans with the grace of our
speech and teachings of the power of OLD, but cannot
fully confess the realities of existence and the
blinding white matter of nonexistence. We mean only to
unite the universe with it's origin of ice and snow.
All you need to know is that your comfortable,
arrogant life patterns will abruptly be interrupted
with crushing hypothermia and cryonic obliteration.
We've said too much already with these communications
we do with you mortals, and you will all know soon
enough of RÃ¥vaskeith and the mammoth, mindblowing
amazement that is the ancient. We were given a new
life, and until our mission is complete, ICE and the
summoning of the END, shall be the way. We will
continue to thrive amongst the northlands, hidden
within caverns of ice and snow, communing with the
ONE. Your children shall continue to be abducted by
us, and skinned within the piercing blizzard winds of
astral nebulae. You mortal monkeys are so quick to
inquire more and more about ICE, more death, more
misery, more hateful blasting. It is no wonder that
your deaths will come swift and painful the way you
subconsciously desire it to be....because primordially
deep down, you know what should be. The end of life,
the rise of the RÃ¥vaskieth and the rightful frozen
universal kingdom.

From where does I.C.E. draw it's musical influences?

ICE: As we stated before: We have no influences other
than the force that drives us, and bends our minds and
wills to the blinding hypothermic power of the
ancient. When we gather our conscious minds disappear
and the spirits to which we where called possess our
astral GÃ¥morkian fluid, thus controlling our moves and
upheaving the ancient hatred through the tools of our
corporeal extensions. Thus, the only thing influencing
our hatred and sonic powers is the power of
RÃ¥vaskeith.

Apocalyptic End In White expands upon the themes of
the MCD, the speed of your composition is very quick
and you show complexity in your songwriting
arrangements. To what do you attribute these factors?

ICE: If your referring to the technical proficiency
and speed from the MCD to the full album becoming
stronger and even more fierce...then that can only be
explained through our natural growth and astral
strengthening between our souls and the yearly
alignment of the GÃ¥morkian constellations for the
portal tunnel apparition to appear. We have spent many
years secluded away amongst the frozen
seclusion....preparing our souls. Hidden within
caverns of ice and abominable cold we nightly project
our souls upon the astral blizzard shrine,
strengthening our powers more and more, so that we
will be ready for the day, when RÃ¥vaskeith will give
us the sign to welcome the arrival.

The song 'Apocalyptic Blizzard Regime' has a very
doomy introduction before blasting into the verse,
what inspires you to create such transitions?

ICE: Again, These sonic vibrations are created under
the rapturous pain of hypothermic possession while
being infected with the spirits of those who channeled
us. So we cannot explain these things, cause while we
are under such possession and drive, we are lost among
the beautiful anguish of subhuman hatred and disgust
for this rebellious nebulae called life.

How can fans find out more about the band?

ICE: By ending there miserable human lives, and
tracking there steps, naked and vulnerable into the
arctic cold of the north until they are overcome by
hypothermic death. At that point they shall feel the
frozen despair of arctic death. If your referring to

Tell us about the recording of the album, what were
your thoughts while in the studio?

ICE: We spend all our time and communion yearly
traveling back and forth between each of this earths
frozen poles. Our lives are now for one purpose, but
when our earthly inclinations and innate desires
brought us to gather together for this musical
blizzard of hatred and mocking contempt for human
existence, we first went to Akureyri to record our
sonic vibrations seeing as, at the time it was the
closest recording studio nearest our path of travel
southward. But with this full length CD "Apocalyptic
End in White", we wanted to get the best production we
could obtain nearest to us. This time around it
happened to be in Maryland while traveling back north.
We only took a short time period out of our travels to
spend on this recording process. Our thoughts were and
always are - focused on the pining hate of the
blizzard regime. Again, we cannot go into detail about
our specific astral invocation communions, for your
human minds can simply not grasp these things. But
these are the things that must be prepared before
being overtaken by the hypothermic possession to
create the power to spill out such sonic creations. We
knew that this album would be massive and pierce
through the hearts of the mortals who hear it....if
this music sounds inhuman, it's because it is
indeed......just by blasting this, you are opening the
great eye of RÃ¥vaskeith to peer right into you. Our
only thoughts after the rapture of the possession was
that indeed, this album will be a fitting testament to
the horror that will consume the earth in the not too
distant future.
