WATCH THEM DIE hometown benefit gig

Thrashers to perform benefit...

Watch Them Die will headline a benefit show at The Metro in the band's hometown of Oakland, CA.
Proceeds will go to benefit for Steve "Stiles" Chinn, who recently was hospitalized due to an aneurysm.

The show gets underway at 8 PM and tickets range from 6 to 10 dollars.

Here is the information about Chinn, taken from a webpage made in his honor in regard to the surgery...

"This page was created by and for the friends and family of Steve "Stiles" Chinn. On August 7, 2005, Steve suffered a brain aneurysm that ruptured and caused a sub-arachnoid hemorrhage, or stroke. He was rushed to Highland Hospital in Oakland, California, where the aneurysm was successfully clamped after several hours of surgery.

Steve's recovery is progressing steadily; he was moved out of I.C.U. after less than two weeks and has been in the rehab unit at Fairmont Hospital in San Leandro. On November 19, Steve had a second surgery at Highland to replace the skull fragment removed during his aneurysm surgery (restoring his head to its proper shape, yay!), and he's now headed back to Fairmont again."

With DEATHTOLL and 100 SUNS supporting, the event is sure to garner a great deal of local support, so if you're in the vicinity of Oaktown, cop your tickets now and show your support.
