Todd La Torre Version Of QUEENSRYCHE Working On New Album
The version of QUEENSRŸCHE with frontman Todd La Torre, who replaced Geoff Tate, have issued a brief update regarding the band working on a new album with producer James Barton, who engineered the band's classic Operation: Mindcrime album.
La Torre recently issued the following update: "FYI, it's not a 'power metal' album, but I do land some siiiiiiiick screams here and there that would rival blinded, if not higher, but only in tasty spots. This is by no means a 'screaming' record, it's Queensrÿche. The boys are working out the finishing details before tracking, and we are hopeful you will love what we have in store for you. James Barton is sure to capture and engineer the wonderful quality that is synonymous with his name."
