Thrash metal icons Exodus have officially shared the music video for their new single "3111," offering fans a choice between a "safe" YouTube edit and a mercilessly graphic uncensored version.

The track serves as the lead single for their upcoming twelfth studio album, Goliath, which is scheduled for release on March 20, 2026, via Napalm Records.
Pushing the Boundaries of Brutality

The video, directed by Jim Louvau, is centered around the harrowing drug war in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. The title "3111" refers to the estimated number of murders committed in the city during 2010 alone.

Because the footage includes scenes of extreme violence that violate YouTube's community guidelines, the band decided to host the full version on a dedicated website.

"YouTube flagged what we consider the 'PG-13' version repeatedly with threats of losing our page permanently," guitarist Gary Holt explained. "So we decided to really push it and include all the scenes we knew they would not allow! We have the PG, the PG-13, and with this one, the Rated-R version."

Fans can watch the uncensored cut at exodus3111.com.
The Return of Rob Dukes

Goliath marks a major milestone for the band as it features the return of vocalist Rob Dukes, who rejoined Exodus in January 2025. This is his first studio album with the group since 2010’s Exhibit B: The Human Condition.

Holt has praised Dukes’ performance on the record, stating, "When you hear his vocals on this new record, you’re gonna shit your pants... it's the top of the pyramid."
About the New Album: "Goliath"

The 10-track album is described as a highly collaborative effort, with songwriting contributions from multiple members, including guitarist Lee Altus, who wrote nearly half the record. It also features notable guests:

Peter Tägtgren (Hypocrisy, Pain) provides guest vocals on "The Changing Me."

Katie Jacoby contributing violin work to the title track.
