KYPCK, FEAR MY THOUGHTS Set Release Dates For New Albums
Century Media is set to unleash two stellar new albums this October from the already established FEAR MY THOUGHTS and the new brainchild of S.S. Lopakka (Sentenced), KYPCK (pronounced 'Kursk' in the western alphabet). FEAR MY THOUGHTS are scheduled to release Isolation on October 14th, while KYPCK will make their debut, Cherno, available on October 28th.
FEAR MY THOUGHTS makes their sixth album their finest as they debut new lead singer Martin Fischer. Musically, Isolation impressively unites influences from all sorts of heavy music, be it straight forward modern metal aggressiveness or classic 70's hard rock topped off by Fischer's highly diverse, captivating voice. The record was produced at the band's own Black Halo Studios by guitarist Patrick Hagmann.
KYPCK are the new doom outfit led by S.S. Lopakka of Sentenced. The band performs their music strictly in the Russian language, which helps to set them apart from other metal bands. Cherno was mixed at HIP Studio and mastered at Finnvox Studios during the autumn of 2007. Upon its Finnish release on March 12th 2008 it went straight to #11 in the Finnish charts. Lopakka comments, "We all were so thrilled about the new band and the whole idea that in less than four months we had material for one and a half albums already. It was like a dam being cracked open – a massive load just poured out!"
