Check Out a Touching Tribute to Lemmy Kilmister from Doro Pesch
In a year that saw the untimely passing of many musical icons, we’ve already seen and passed the one-year mark since the passing of Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister.
With several tributes already released, one stands out as a most touching one. Check out this tribute from German Metal icon Doro Pesch:
Pesch was a close friend of Kilmister, and she offered her personal touch on “It Still Hurts,” a song Kilmister and Persch recorded back in 2012.
The video features a clean-shaven Kilmister followed ba picture of the two standing side by side.
Delicate chords ring out throughout the song.
“Today is exactly one year ago since the rock ‘n’ roll world lost Lemmy Kilmister, one of its greatest ever — and one of my best and most beloved friends,” Persch said in a statement issued on her Official Facebook page. “One year… and we miss Lemmy so much. The wish to honor him and his remembrance day with a video, showing some beautiful moments, came from deep within our hearts. And here it is: In Memoriam – Lemmy, one of the greatest heroes in Rock,” said Doro.
