AIDEN Singer Speaks About "Conviction"

Aiden Set to be released on August 21st, "Conviction" shows a whole new side of Seattle's horror rock band Aiden. Although the group maintains a dark image, the album is centered around hope. As the voice of Aiden, wiL Francis has overcome addiction and worked through obstacles to become a major voice in the world of modern rock. After a long while touring in support of "Nightmare Anatomy" and the EP that followed, "Rain In Hell," Aiden is as determined as ever to bring fans great music. Francis says of the album's theme," In all sincerity, "Conviction" is a feeling that I have toward our music. The feeling that compels me to make people move, to make people dance, laugh, cry or listen to the band. It's a feeling I have for the people who come and watch us and the people that buy our records. It's a feeling that I have inside for the fans."

Recently, Aiden won the Virgin Mobile "Book The Band" contest, snagging the opening slot on day two of the Virgin Music festival, slated for August 5th at Boston's Pimlico Race Course. The band takes the stage at noon.
