Fall Out Boy Frontman Angry With Neurosonic Song

FALL OUT BOY star PETE WENTZ has pleaded with a heavy metal rock band to refrain from mocking his girlfriend ASHLEE SIMPSON. Canadian rockers Neurosonic have written a song documenting Simpson's disastrous appearance on U.S. TV show Saturday Night Live in 2004, when she was found to be lip-synching to a backing track while pretending to sing live. And Wentz is infuriated by the band's decision to perform the track live, reports the New York Daily News gossip column PageSix. Bassist Wentz, who began dating Simpson last year (06), has written to Neurosonic to ask them to stop performing the song.
