LEAVES' EYES Reveal Tracklisting

Leaves Eyes 2007 German/Norwegian gothic metallers LEAVES' EYES will release their new album, Meredead, on April 22nd in Germany, Austria and Switzerland via Napalm Records.

Meredead was produced by Alexander Krull at Mastersound Studio and will feature the following tracklisting:

'Spirits’ Masquerade'
'Velvet Heart'
'To France'
'Mine Tåror er ei Grimme'
'Empty Horizon'
'Tell-Tale Eyes'
'Sorhleod' (Bonus Track)

Leaves' Eyes recently issued the following update:

"Yesterday the international press and a few special friends had their first taste of the new Leaves' Eyes album, Meredead, at Mastersound Studio. Nine new songs out of the twelve that will be on the record were presented to our guests. The reactions after having the new songs blasted at high volume were very positive. The press also got a lot of background information about the lyrics and how the album was conceived. We can't wait for you all to hear the new record as we feel it's a new step in the evolution of Leaves' Eyes!"

As previously reported, Leaves' Eyes have announced a second album release party for their new album, Meredead. It will take place at the Z-Bau in Nürnberg, Germany on April 26th. The previously announced release party will take place at Nachtleben in Frankfurt, Germany on April 25th.

Leaves’ Eyes have announced the dates for their upcoming shows in April and May 2011, headlining the tour with special guest MIDNATTSOL, as well as being direct support for TARJA (ex-NIGHTWISH). Singer Liv Kristine comments:

“Both tours are just perfect for the release of our fourth full-length album, Meredead. Firstly, I will finally share stage with my sister, Carmen Elise Espenaes (Midnattsol), which is like a dream coming true. Secondly, it’s a great honor for us to go on tour with our friends and support Tarja Turunen and her outstanding band! We are really looking forward to this. It will truly be a special experience for our fans and us!”
