FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH PAYS HOMAGE TO HORROR CLASSIC

By jason

As this year's Family Values Tour winds down, the members of FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, just like thousands of other salivating horror-film fanatics, are anxiously awaiting this week's release of Rob Zombie's take on the 1978 classic film HALLOWEEN.

Actress, Danielle Harris, who plays the charming, borderline-bad girl, Annie Brackett in the film, also plays the lead role alongside FFDP vocalist Ivan Moody in the bands video for "The Bleeding".

When recently asked about his devotion to the legendary blood-thirsty flick, drummer Jeremy Spencer had this to say: "Halloween was considered to be an independent film when it came out in 1978. Little did anyone know it would change the landscape of horror movies forever. This movie truly terrified me to the point to where I had to see every one of them. I think Rob Zombie's remake will be the best one since the original. He's too respectful of the genre to churn out something that wont be exceptional. He loaded this film with unparalleled talent. Danielle Harris is extremely talented and on top of her craft. We had the pleasure of working with Danielle on our video "The Bleeding." She really nailed the role and elevated everyone's performance to a whole new level. The band looks very much forward to seeing her in the new Halloween, which I'm sure will start a whole new wave for the franchise."

The clip for "The Bleeding" which was shot in Los Angeles with director Bradley Scott, known for his work with THE COMAS, MIDNIGHT MOVIES and RINGSIDE can be viewed on the bands Myspace page @ www.myspace.com/ffdp.
