Emperor/Ihsahn Update

Emperor will return to the US on May 31 for three additional shows for their stateside fans. The band will perform in Chicago, New York and end in Los Angeles before heading back home. Guitarist Samoth and drummer Trym will perform with Zyklon just prior to the Emperor dates making their first appearance at the Maryland Death Festival on May 27. Once the band returns home to Norway, vocalist/guitarist Ihsahn will continue work on his second solo album expected for release in early 2008.

Opening for Emperor in Chicago and Los Angeles is Montana-based Martriden. The band's self-titled debut album will be released by Candlelight on June 19. Album details will be updated shortly.

Witchcraft have now finished basic tracks for their third album with additional tracking planned to be recorded in London in early June. The album is planned for a September release with the band returning to the US for a second tour on the album's release.
