Static-x Prepare for 9 Week US Tour

STATIC-X frontman Wayne Static has posted the following message on the group's newly relaunched official web site:

"The big U.S. tour kicks off in Las Vegas on June 8th. Tony, Nick, Koichi, and myself just started reheasals and everything's sounding great. We're gonna be out for nine weeks on this run and we'll try to hit every town we can get to. We lined up some great opening bands as well. AMERICAN HEAD CHARGE and BLOODSIMPLE will be on the entire tour. Tony and Dino's [Cazares, ex-FEAR FACTORY] band, ASESINO, will be on the first couple weeks for all you lucky metalheads in the Southwest, then TEN YEARS will open the show for the rest of the run.

"Don't forget the new album, 'Start A War', comes out on June 14th. If you pick up the DVD version you'll get to see us rehearsing some of the new songs in the infamous Studio 508. There's also some great footage from the first two shows we played with Koichi back in the band. We really put everything we've got into this record and I'm excited for everyone to hear the whole thing."
