Velvet Revolver In Pre-Production

VELVET REVOLVER drummer Matt Sorum (ex-GUNS N' ROSES, THE CULT) has posted the following update at his official blog:

"Hello Everyone. Just getting back from Boston. Took three winners of the Zildjian contest that we started last year when I was on tour. I took them on a tour of the factory. Zildjian makes my cymbals and I have been an endorser for 18 yrs now. After the tour I helped them pick out eight free cymbals to take home. Each drummer was different in styles and needed there own
Sound. So it took time. I arrived at 830 AM, which is pretty early for me. It was more like 530 AM Los Angeles time. I finally left at around 400 PM. So it was a long day. But I think everyone was very happy. Had dinner on the water with The Zildjian family. Had Lobster and Boston Clam Chowder Amazing!! Anyway, home for a minute. In the studio with Velvet Revolver. All next week.
