Gnaw Their Tongues Debuts New Track
Dutch experiemental ambiant act, Gnaw Their Tongues, will soon release their latest full-length effort, Hymns for the Broken, Swollen, and Silent in December, and a new track is avaialble for streaming at the collective’s Bandcamp.com page (https://gnawtheirtongues.bandcamp.com/album/hymns-for-the-broken-swollen-and-silent).
Performed and recorded at the Bejaarde II, Drachten, by outfit founder Mories, who also mixed and mastered the album, Hymns for the Broken, Swollen, and Silent is a bleak exploration of jarring sounds and intelligent processing, where in primal vocal wails are suffused between haunting spoken-word passages and distorted guitars. The eight-song release takes Heavy Metal at its raw elemental alchemy and makes each component a disjointed and harrowing sonic experience.
Hymns for the Broken, Swollen, and Silent is set for release on December 9th; pre-orders for vinyl edition are available through Consouling Sounds, and cassette pre-orders are available through Tartarus Records. You can also download the new album over at the Gnaw Their Tongues Bandcamp.com page.
