GALACTIC PEGASUS PREMIER "PHANTOM OF THE HILL"
The band has this to say regarding the new single:
"Phantom Of The Hill is our second single, and the title track, off of our upcoming album. This song was one of the first songs that Johnny [Ciardullo, bass] showed us back when we were trying him out for the band. We all loved it so much that we decided to turn it into a Galactic Pegasus song! The video play-through for this song was shot on top of Mount Seymour in BC, Canada. We wanted to try to show off some of the scenery that is local to us."
We asked Johnny to explain his thoughts on the track since he wrote it, and he had this to say:
"I wrote this song back in 2013 for a recording project when I attended Selkirk college. It was one of the 15 songs I sent to Andrew when I was auditioning for Gally P. I never thought that anyone else would ever hear this song or any of the songs I wrote for this record actually. I'm very proud of this track and I'm beyond excited for people to listen to it."
Fans can catch a pre-order of Phantom of the Hill on iTunes, Google, and Amazon now and receive a download of “Mare Imbrium†immediately.
About Galactic Pegasus:
Best described as a progressive metalcore band, GP come from from British Columbia, Canada. Their sound is mostly influenced by metalcore from the late 2000’s, as well as the more modern djent movement. By combining these two main influences, along with many others from each member, Galactic Pegasus has been able to create their own unique sound. The band was originally formed in 2012 as a solo project by founding member, Andrew Baena. After receiving numerous show offers, it was converted into a full-fledged band that now has two EPs, a full length album, and a cross-Canada tour under their belt.
