Rob Zombie Tour Update
Fresh and rejuvenated after packing the second stage at Ozzfest 2005, Rob Zombie is putting together his
own headlining tour to coincide with the release of his new studio record, Educated Horses. Zombie will
bring his devilish blend of crushing riffs, slamming beats and metal attitude to The Wiltern LG on April 24th.
Educated Horses will be Zombie's third solo LP for Geffen Records. He already has the most Platinum
and Gold discs in the label's history, and Horses looks sure to add to that tally. Its first single, "Foxy Foxy," will hit Modern Rock and Active Rock February 13th.
For the tour, Rob will be joined by guitarist John 5 (ex-Marilyn Manson), bassist Blasko and drummer
Tommy Clufetos (ex-Alice Cooper & Ted Nugent). Zombie recently told MTV News, "With the new band,
I just had such a good time... The whole band is dying to get on tour."
From his beginnings as leader and frontman for White Zombie, where he unleashed slabs of raw rock n'
roll like, "Thunder Kiss '65," and infectious grooves such as, "More Human Than Human," to solo superstar
status, Rob has done it all his own way. Whether designing t-shirts, producing records or directing films, he refuses to compromise or sit on the sidelines. "I love doing everything," he explains. "How else can you realize a complete vision?"
