BLACK SEPTEMBER Announce Tour Dates
Chicago's BLACK SEPTEMBER have announced a run of dates in August throughout the Midwest and East coast. The death metal quintet, whose style DECIBEL described as a mix of" Bolt Thrower parts, doom, death and black metal all in one cauldron" is supporting PROSTHETIC RECORDS' re-release of their album, "The Forbidden Gates Beyond." The band has also been tapped to support the Chicago stop of the ENSLAVED, GHOST, and ALCEST tour this October.

"The Forbidden Gates Beyond," which was originally self released, was re-released by Prosthetic Records on June 7th, 2011. BLACK SEPTEMBER, who formed in 2006 based on their love of acts such as Bolt Thrower, His Hero Is Gone and Bathory, amongst others, released several EPs and self released "Forbidden Gates Beyond," last year. The album was recorded at Gremlen Studios in Aurora, IL and Bricktop Recording in Chicago, IL and was mastered by Collin Jordan at the Boiler Room (Nachtmystium, Minsk, Gates of Slumber, Zoroaster).
