PRO-PAIN REPLACE DEATH ANGEL ON KREATOR TOUR
NEW STUDIO ALBUM SET FOR JUNE 14 RELEASE

Philadelphia: Candlelight Records today confirms that veteran hardcore/metal band PRO-PAIN have replaced Death Angel on the upcoming Enemy of God US tour featuring Kreator, Vader and Autumn Offering. The tour beginning April 3 at New York's BB Kings, follows the band's recently completed tour, their first in over five years, alongside Entombed, Crowbar and The Mighty Nimbus.

Still in support of the successful Fistful of Hate, released April 2004, PRO-PAIN are expected to premiere material from their new album, Prophets of Doom, now set for US release on June 14. The tour will also see through the release of the band's first official dvd release titled Raw Video, dropping in stores April 19.

Formed by bassist/vocalist Gary Meskil (ex-Crumbsuckers), PRO-PAIN released their debut Foul Taste of Freedom in 1992. The record was an instant success and has since soundscanned over 60,000 units. Successive albums, The Truth Hurts (1994), Contents Under Pressure (1996) and Pro-Pain (1998) saw sales growth continue with combined album sales in the US breaking 100,000 units. In 2004, Candlelight released the band's latest album, Fistful of Hate. It has been described as the band's heaviest and most aggressive album to date.
