SOiL SIGNS TO DRT ENTERTAINMENT

Chicago's SOiL has signed an exclusive recording deal with New York-based DRT Entertainment. The band will head to Los Angeles next month to begin recording their new album which is currently slated for release in early 2006. Ulrich Wild has been tapped as producer.

"It is great to finally be on a label that has other rock acts," said guitarist Shaun Glass upon the announcement. "With a new singer and new record label, we feel like we have a clean slate to start from and truly make this new album something to be proud of," continues bassist Tim King.

"I am very proud that SOiL has become a new member of the DRT family, said DRT co-principal Derek Shulman upon the announcement. "They are one of the most motivated and dedicated rock bands I have ever been involved in. SOiL will be a cornerstone band on the roster and we look forward to much success for the new album early next year."
