P.O.D. Guitarist Returns
P.O.D. co-founder Marcos Curiel has rejoined the San Diego, California band four years after quitting.
The guitarist left the group over "business differences" in 2001 but he's featured on the group's new album When Angels & Serpents Dance.
He tells Billboard.com, "I'm excited to be back, and they're definitely excited to have me back."
Curiel reveals he started getting involved with band affairs again when he renewed his friendship with drummer Wuv Bernardo last year.
He says, "Next thing I know, he tells me the guitar player who replaced me was bowing out and maybe we should start jamming. (It was like) an old shoe. It fits perfect and it just works. It was as if I hadn't even left." The new album also features guest appearances from Suicidal Tendencies singer Mike Muir and Helmet guitarist Paige Hamilton.
