Ministry's Final Studio Release, The Last Sucker, Out Today, Streaming at AOL Spinner, MP3.com
Today marks the end of an era. After nearly three decades, nearly a dozen studio albums, and four Grammy nominations, Ministry has released its final studio album, The Last Sucker. The third in an uber-critical trilogy aimed at exposing the foils, failures and fabrications perpetrated by the George W. Bush Administration, The Last Sucker follows 2004's Houses of the Molé and last year's Rio Grande Blood. Give it a listen yourself over at AOL Spinner or MP3.com.

Of course, this doesn't mean the end of Al Jourgensen, or even Ministry. The band is slated to release an album of covers, Cover Up, next year in collaboration with a few close pals, while Jourgensen is also currently scoring for the film "Wicked Lake" and recording and producing artists signed to his imprint 13th Planet Records in Texas. But best of all, Ministry will embark on its final world tour in the Spring of 2008 – the "C U LaTour." 13th Planet Records will announce confirmed dates, touring line-up, support and pre-sales later this month.
