Very few are willing to carry the torch for true entertainment in rock and roll. Of course there’s the legends, Cooper and Kiss. Marilyn Manson had his day in the sun. Then there is the incomparable Lizzy Borden, Los Angeles’ shock rock overlord who burst onto the scene with the release of “Love You Pieces” at time when rock was safe. The element of danger at a Lizzy show will be the litmus test by which attempts at rock showmanship will be judged.

In continuing the tradition, Lizzy’s seventh release, “Deal With the Devil”, is an event of epic proportions, painting images of hellish proportion. You know, an example of all the excess that makes rock and roll fun! Recorded in his hometown of Los Angeles, it was produced by Elliot Soloman who brought the bands “Master Of Disguise” to fruition. Never at a loss for words Lizzy describes his latest foray into debauchery, “(it’s) my paradise lost and my Dante's inferno, this is Lizzy's inferno! I get to play the father of lies and a few other hellish characters. This is my immortal journey through hell and back.”

To capture the essence of the all around madman, Lizzy Borden fan and multimedia genius, Todd McFarlane was enlisted to create some of the most sinister album art in recent history. McFarlane is best known for his creation of Spawn as well as covers for Korn and Iced Earth, but this time he has out done himself by perfectly illustrating the prince of darkness.
