Though the band was founded in summer of 1991, the original name 'DLM' was aquired much later, in 1995. The starting line-up was the following: Vyacheslav 'Tarakan' Anikanov (guitar, vocal), Valeriy 'Propeller' Beller (guitar), Sergey 'Bob' Bobkov (drums), Vladimir Petrunin (vocal). In summer of 1995 Sergey 'Mad' Kudryavtsev (guitar) was recruited. The first gig of the band took place in Kostanai Agricultural Institute (KAI) in september 1995. In 1997 Anikanov and Beller left the band. The vacant places were taken by the members of Transylvania who had split by that time: Dmitriy Zverev (guitar) and Artyom Lizunkin (bass).

1998
In april the band took part in the 'Art-Platforma' festival which was held in Magnitogorsk, Russia. In spring two demo-tapes 'Minimum Letal Dose' and 'Blood on the Needle' were recorded with the help of Rouslan Sahautdinov. The former contained past material (the 1995 period), while the later included brand new material of 1998. The quality of the recording left much to be desired. Kudryavtsev went to Russia for a permamanent living. His place was taken by Oleg 'Stariy' Kazachkov.

2000
DLM played at the festival dedicated to Richie Blackmore's successive birthday in Astana (the capitol of Kazakhstan). Bob and Stariy left the band that year. While rehearsing the band hired Lizunkin Jr as a second giutarist. In may Stas Kim (drums) joined the band.

2001
The vacant guitar place was taken by Vladimir 'Cherep' Asanov (Orphan). Lizunkin had claimed his leaving the band. The place was taken by his younger brother - Vasiliy, who eventually became a constant member. On august, 31 the second 'Bike-Show' festival took place in Rudny. Oleg Dzhumaniyazov (Musty Grave) played drums instead of Stas. At the end of october Stas returned and again the band moved the rehearsal place, at the Dom Tvorchestva this time.

2002
On the 1st of may the band moved a new rehearsal place together with the reformed Orphan. For several months the palce at the drumkit was occupied by Viktor Davityan (Orphan). On the 31st of august the band performed at the First regional festival of young vocal and rock bands, where they were named as a 'best metal act' and Zverev was named as a 'best guitar palyer'. On october, 25th tha band took part in a concert dedicated to the Republican Day at the Kolos Culture House, Zatobolsk. By the end of 2002 Oleg Dzhumaniyazov became a permanent drummer.

2003
On february, 15 DLM performed in the Teachers' Training College alongside with Orphan and in may the band was busy with recording their demo 'The Abyss'. Armen, Viktor Davityan's younger brother, made an invaluable contribution in the process of making the recording. August, 17 DLM played live in a farewell concert of Zipperhead at the Dom Tvorchestva hall. On august, 31 the band took part in the 2nd regional vocal and rock festival where they won the 3rd prize and a tape-recorder as a gift. This event was immensely celebrated.
