Eli-Stone is a full force groove machine that rolls over their audience like a Mack truck on a cold October morning. This five piece unit displays the most intense raw energy to come out of the St. Louis, MO. metro area in a long time. Eli-Stone turns their screaming fans into a chaotic pit, united as one in music, mosh and feel. Eli-Stone demonstrates the power of Pantera and combines the unfiltered imagination of Black Sabbath and Sepultura into their own sound,"MODOWN". Eli-Stone was pulled together by some cosmic force on December sixth, 1997. Thier first session was explosive and all of the members knew their aggression had been born. They hit the St. Louis scene in April of 1998 and on their fourth show they headlined Mississippi Nightsm the premier club in St. Louis, MO. In just one year Eli-Stone was chosen to perform at the first Extreme Radio 104.1 Lo Doh Show in St. Louis, MO. At Which they opened for Drain STH. Eli-Stone has also opened for Gwar, Pro-Pain and Pissing Razors. A local music store, Slacker's CD's & Games, chose Eli-Stone to perform at a grand opening where music fans met and hung out with System of a Down and (hed)pe. Eli-Stone appeared on the compilation, St. Louis Sound Bytes, sponsored by Ballistic.com and on the Morning Pipeline Show which was distributed to 150 radio stations throughout the Midwest. Eli-Stone was chosen out of 100 plus bands in the Monday Night Metal Competition, sponsored by Extreme Radio 104.1 to recieve $4000.00 of recording time from 4 Seasons Media Productions, whom is ranked one of the top five recording studios in the world. They were given a feature on the Monday Night Metal Show, Extreme Radio 104.1 and will appear on the compilation for Monday Night Metal. Eli-Stone has also received airplay on KPNT 105.7 The Point in St. Louis, MO., and on several television shows throughout the metro area airing videos and live broadcasts of local, regional and national acts. All of these accomplishments are only small steps forward for such a young band. Eli-Stone released their full length debut CD, "Positive" on June 26th, 1999. Eli-Stone reaks of success, they have all the determination, drive and style that the music industry is looking for now and for years to come.
