Founder of Black Metal Band Molested scribes novel


Gorgoroth According to Norwegian newsource, "Aftenposten," former drummer of Norwegian Black Metal outfits, Gorgoroth and Molested put down the sticks and picked up a pen to relate his views on the mayhem which occurred amongst the Black Metal circle in the early 90's.

Erlend Erichsen's new book titled "National Satanist" (Nasjonsalsataniste) is already being translated in French and there are talks about a German version.

The novel is set in 1990's Bergen, Norway where the Norwegian Black Metal Scene started. Church burnings and Varg Vikernes' murder of Oystein Aarseth (Euronymous) are some of the events Erichsen touches upon.

The book starts with a quote from Euronymous of Mayhem (R.I.P.), "We are inspired by our hatred towards humanity, life, goodness and happiness."

The novel has been released through pubishing house Damm.
