LAMB OF GOD Fans Rally Behind Jailed Singer
Fans of Lamb of God's Randy Blythe held a rally and vigil today on Brown's Island in support of the jailed frontman. Fans from all over the area, including band members and even Dave Brockie (Gwar, Dave Brockie Experience), joined about 150 fans to rally behind Blythe.
The rally was organized by Tommy Streat, a friend of Blythe's to show support and let Randy know people are still thinking about him.
Blythe remains jailed in the Czech Republic despite being granted and paying $200,000USD in bail. The singer was detained on June 27 after arriving in Prague in regards to a 2010 concert in which a fan got up on stage multiple times and was pushed off into the crowd hitting his head. The fan, Daniel Nosek, died 29 days later after falling into a coma.
